After a thorough examination to determine whether treatment with Invisalign® Teen Aligners is appropriate based on the initial situation, a precise digital diagnosis and creation of a personalized ClinCheck® 3D treatment plan follows.

The aligners are worn for approximately 22 hours a day and changed at home (on average every 1 to 2 weeks). The indicators fade from blue to colorless, indicating the actual time the aligners have been worn.
The intervals for check-ups are every 6 to 8 weeks to ensure everything is monitored and running according to plan.

Prophylaxe

In addition to personal dental care, regular professional teeth cleaning is also necessary during orthodontic treatment at a specialist's office. Patients with fixed braces require special care, as the appliances make certain areas more difficult to reach during brushing.
However, regular preventative examinations should still be carried out by your family dentist.

Positioner

To ensure optimal fine adjustment during the final phase of orthodontic treatment, a positioner can be used. The chewing pressure presses the teeth into the predefined recess and adjusts them to the ideal bite position.

SureSmile-Ortho

The SureSmile Ortho Aligner System is ideal for minor adjustments. The setup can be completed very quickly after the digital assessment in the practice. Each treatment step is printed on our in-house 3D printer, and the transparent aligners are manufactured directly in our in-house laboratory in Hannover Kirchrode.

Retainer

Teeth move throughout life. To maintain the desired results, we recommend that our patients wear a bonded, invisible retainer after orthodontic treatment, which ensures long-term retention of the teeth.

Sports mouthguard

For some sports, it is advisable or even mandatory to wear a mouthguard. At our orthodontic practice in Hanover, our patients receive a custom-made sports mouthguard.
